where would I stand on this one?

Saw a deal on a website for some ugg boots for my wife (respected company but no need for names) they had thirty quid off and a discount code for 20% off as well, so was really pleased, Bought them on sunday but had a mail today saying that they d run out as there had been a cross over between warehouse and itinary stock counts, which is life though a disapppointment.
The price has now gone back up and without the discount code they are 50 quid more expensive, in alternative colours. The colour I bought are as they said unavailable
What do you think the chances are of them honouring the deal from sunday and giving me an different colour at the original price as ultimately it s there error? Or would I be asking too much?

Definately agree with you, as i said these things happen, not really a complainer but wondered what peoples thoughts on the chances of them honouring it would be

You'd be lucky if they honoured the price on the same item when new stock arrived.

Can't see them honouring it on a different item.

Just as some closure on this I called up the company ( Shudoo) and they honured the price of the promotion on a different colour so very impressed with their customer service.
