there have been threads about house raffles. However, would you join a group of about 100,000 people and pay £2 a week to enter.
it would give someone a cheap house, help sellers and raise some money for charity.
there are one off raffles, but a regular thing could be quite lucrative...

Sounds like a good idea, but I imagine most would get bored after a few weeks of losing and give up. It would need to be standing order to avoid all the collecting hassle, and the odds would have to be better than the lottery. A relative supports Ebbsfleet which was run by online democracy, and now most members have moved on after the initial excitement. Not sure about the legal aspect.Been away for a while.0
