Today's list
1. Free scratchcards done - today and yesterday
2. B1ingoport done - today and yesterday
3. 2 dooyoo reviews done - today and yesterday
4. Return rate yesterdays reviews done - today and yesterday
5. Tidy desk (must do this
) only just finished but looks fabulous!
6. Trek to minibus place to pay for birthday hire (means I can't spend the last of my pennies at least!) done
7. Post amazon sale done
8. Take ebay photos (do it, do it, do it!) *ahem*
Sort of cheating as only finished some of it today and still no ebay photos, but I have tidied everything and come across a few more bits and pieces, so everything is in The Ebay Box ready to go.
Alos yesterday in my ebay avoidance I checked through all my Amazon listings to make sure they were all up to date, and that everything was listed on Green Met and Play too where appropriate, plus listed a few things without IBSN no's that I was too lazy to before. So the two Amazon Boxes are also sorted and tidied away in the spare room. And by today I had already sold 2 things (for pennies but this is not the point...)
Thanks to the help on here I won £4 on B1ngo Britain this morning too (well, won £5 but accidentally re-bid with £1 in my giddy excitement!) so quite chuffed with that, thanks macgirl and f_f.
Two days til payday!

He still gets the edited highlights but when I start talking about 10p scratchcards and stuff he looks at me as though I've lost the plot... He mostly humours me though and my MSE ways are gradually rubbing off on him

Hi Shrimpy, glad someone's having some luck on BB!
Hope you're feeling better and ready to get back on the debtbusting wagon.
I know what you mean about Ebay, I'm so good at talking up my intentions, but it takes me ages to do anything about it, so I will if you will

Well, the long absence is a result of extensive ebay procrastination, plus birthday excess, plus similar works christmas party excess
But all came in well within budget, and the good news is that I finally took all my eaby photos (until I find more stuff that is) and managed to get about 2/3 of it listed too. (Currently one bid of 99p
)
So all is well. OH has decided he doesn't want his advent calander and, as he hasn't yet touched it, I am selflessly getting it up to date to stave off any festive bad luck. Why does chocolate taste so much better when it has its own front door?
On a final moneysaving note, have just worked out I'm only £170 off having paid 50% of my total debt, so am looking forward to that as a little milestone. Am owed a bit of money still from paying for works Christmas party so am seriously thinking it might be doable by Christmas... But I might just be dreaming!
Just watched Kirsty's Homemade Christmas and am seriously in the mood to get making some goodies although I somehow think mine will be a tad less impressive. Definitely going to play with some salt dough over the weekend!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Hello again, sold three items on ebay which cane to around £20 so not too bad. Don't seem to have my bonus on BB today which has made me a little sad, should have a week or so left so will check again later and hopefully it will appear. But the most exciting news of all, I won a whole pound on the Butlins scratch today
I was so happy not to see that orange fish it was untrue!
Other money news, lovely OH sold his car and is sharing mine (which I don't really use at the mo) so has offered to pay the tax and MOT which are due Jan/Feb. He has also lent me £350 which has gone off the CC and means it will be gone for Christmas. I wouldn't normally like owing him money but he is meant to be saving it for his next car and at least if I have it he can't spend it! Plus even though its just technically shifting debt, psychologically getting rid of the card is going to feel amazing as it has always been the debt that has troubled me the most.
Phew quite a ramble there! Didn't get any salt dough made but did make some stained glass window biscuits which excited me a lot. Couldn't find any Christmas cookie cutters anywhere so was uber-MSE and cut out my own shapes (hand made stuff is meant to look a bit...rustic...right?)
Anyway better go and wrap the ebay stuff, hope everyone's Christmas preparations are not proving too stressful xBarclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

Hi savingholmes and Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your post and for giving me a prod as requested
I'm a bit rubbish at diary keeping (evidently) but am still very much on the MSE wagon, really really wanted to pay off my CC by Christmas and nearly managed it, only about £23 outstanding (plus waiting for something to be refunded). Have now signed up for the next one debt v 100 days challenge as the last one was a massive inspiration in getting so far with the CC. Also still loving the £10 a day challenge (though only managing £5 at present) and will only be spending what I make on there from now on (and hopefully much less) so that all of my leftover salary can go towards the debt. Secretly hoping to get the 100 days debt paid by the end of Feb but may take a miracle as I have pretty much Amazon/ebayed everything I own. Must look harder! Have a couple of MS jobs lined up, low paying but a start.
Sorry for the prolonged absence and mammoth return post!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
