RBS key account - any good?

Thinking of maybe opening a rbs key account, does anyone have them, are they any good and is there anything i should know about the account?

It's a good account, as it has almost all the facilities that a current account has, except a chequebook and overdraft. The account comes with a VISA debit card.

You could shop around for other accounts similar to RBS Key Account, and don't need to stick to one choice. A choice of them here: http://www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk/pdfs/bank_accounts.pdf

It doesnt pay interest like a standard acc.

I had one before switching to a standard acc..

Might be worth getting a credit check for a normal acc as they may give you one with no cheque book o/d etc and then you are building up a credit history with rbs.

It offers no advantages over the 'full' account. Unless your credit rating is pretty awful it's worth trying for the others first.

I find it ok, but for some reason there are places where the card isn't accepted, for example I can pay for items instore at Tesco, but I can't use the card if I use the pay at pump in the tesco petrol station ?????????
