Ebay and the World Cup!

Is there any point trying to plan listings around match times or not!? I've had a go but it seems almost impossible to find a time when there isn't a match being played. My listings are UK only so I'm used to finishing them in the evenings but am giving myself a headache trying to work it out!
Should I just forget it and list as normal or simply give up listing anything for the next month or so, get myself the best seat in the house, a stack of pizzas, a crate of beer, an England flag and just go with the flow!!
What is everyone else doing?

oh yeah i havent thought of this!!
ermm.... i suppose not everyone is interested in the football, and sometimes people will go on ebay during the match, thinking that no one else will be on and they can get some bargains, i went on ebay on christmas day one year thinking the same - but so did everyone else and it was just like a normal day!
I think i will just carry on listing my items for sale and see what happens!
Any way lets hope ENGLAND will win!!!!0 -

It's probably not worth trying to avoid all the World Cup matches, but I'd certainly avoid having any finish during or just before or after England games - even if your target customers are ladies.0

I agree, ebay will be dead during England matches so its best to avoid. Having said that I've not put much thought yet into it to avoid these times.
I think England Play on June 10th, June 15, & June 20th at least so be careful with those days!0 -
Bonus! Hadn't thought that no end of football fans wouldn't be lookin for ebay bargains. Means I may get some stuff cheaper.
Whats the use of a ball game that you can't pick up the ball?
