How To Use Fragrance Oil?

Try putting an old container like a jam jar or mug on your radiator, almost full of water and with a good few drops of your fragrance oil. Does the same as an oil burner, only slower, and it stops the air from getting dry when the radiator is on. The suggestions of putting it on cotton wool or a face cloth would also work, but the smell would be more intense and the oil would evaporate more quickly.
Alternatively, an unglazed pottery ornament (not something you use for food!) will soak it up and release it slowly like a solid air freshener. Some glazed ornaments have an unglazed bit at the bottom you can use. Just don't put it down on a polished surface as the oils could cause damage.
I wouldn't put oils on a light bulb as some types of bulb have sensitive glass that can be damaged by oil.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
