Leaking roof - who's fault?

I had Homeserve cover under my home insurance, i had a leak twice over a period of 2 years ago they fixed it wonderfully no probs. However, each time the roofer said the fault was not mine as the water was coming down a party beam into my room.
This time around i thought i would get it done via the insurance as i did'nt want to keep getting the same problem.
I have spoken to the neighbour (her roof is in a really bad state) and as she is elderly is very vague about anything being done as she's not effected.
Esure have said as the problem is on-going i am not covered
, both the building surveyors sent round have said they can't see where the water is coming from!!
I have paid numerous builders over the years to sort this before resorting to Homeserve & Esure & am happy to pay again, as i still have a leak down my wall everytime it rains
. I am in despair for some advice as black mold has set in & i have little ones, pls help
, thanks in advance x

No idea how much you would be charged but have you thought of getting an architect and surveyor out to look? My late FIL was one and often did work for insurance companies where he had to go and diagnose faults in the structure and suggest solutions.0

Already had 2 building surveyors from the insurance comp, who kept going on about checking for 'storm damage' but i never even mentioned that!, would an architect (sp?!) do something else they can't do?. Apparantly the surveyors 'could'nt see anything'No one said it was gonna be easy!0
