Change of Payment date!!!!!!!

I have tryed to change my payment date on a catalough that i have ,
The payment has to with them on the 21st of each month, which means i have to pay it four days before that, to enable it to get to them there chosen date of the 21st,,
Now my problem is , i dont get paid untill the 25th of each month, i have asked them if they could change the payment date to a later date, but they have refused, i have even tryed to ask if i could set up a direct debit with them , for it to come out on pay day .. but they wont budge, so i am getting charged a late payment charge of £12.00. and also my credit rating has been affected . i was o.k at first with the payment date at first, but my circamstances have changed.. it.s not as if i,m not wanting to pay, because i am ...
Any help would be very much appreicated..
