Hope everyone is well, and confused you made the right decision I think, the roads here are bad as well, and we have had more snow and more on the way by the looks of it.

Good Morning all, as you know i got part time job just before christmas.

Well got some great news, just had a call and got second job so will be working full time very soon.

Great feeling, just wanted to share my good news with you guys.

How are you fairing in this weather siz? We've more snow tonight so they say.

Is anyone else starting to worry, I should have stocked up long ago - DH off tomorrow so off to get a good shop. Shouldn't have moved to the sticks! The grit isn't working is it? It's too cold

iv not tried to get to work since i did on tue morning! to be fair though iv been ill past two days too.. just cant shake this cough and its keeping me up at night.. could have probably drove in today.
OH managed to get to work and back today, the main roads are fine its just our estate its on a hill! we live near the top on a cul de sac and no through traffic makes it horrid.

They gave more snow for last night and today, but iv seen a few flakes. Weather is giving it bad for us this weekend too.. i really hope not. Im fed up of it now.
I managed to get some milk today, first time in 3 days there was milk on the shelf, i think its because i walked up at 9 this morning, the woman in shop was saying its like there is a war or something people are stock piling.
Iv not even ordered any shopping from tesco.com i doubt they would get to me..
it was fun to start with but i need to get back to normal now.

I've just tried Asda delivery, went to book a slot and there was nothing available at all for the next 7 days.

apart from bread/milk it will do us good not to have any shopping delivered, iv got loads in the freezer and still lots christmas stuff left so imhoping to save some money this week :-)

we nipped out to the local shops for a couple of bits, the main roads were fine but the ice on the pavements was so thick! weather reports not looking good for next few days

just been watching a film with OH - well, i fell asleep i keep doing this, i get cosy when settling down for a film and can't help it
