Afternoon all, quiet new year here, although I am very tired as eldest decided to have a melt down late at night and it took us a long time to calm him.
Hope all of you with hangovers feel better soon. x0 -

Haaappy New Year! Been looking forward to this day for so long.
My resolution is to have balanced nutrition, maybe suppliments.. I think feeding myself the right stuff will help fix my poorly mind. I have come off the pill as I think that's sending me doolally so I hope to goodness I don't end up with a bun in the oven.. hey ho, life's life, what will be will be - but i'll be calmer and happier!0 -
I saw one lone balloon and it startled me at first. I didn't think I'd had that much too drink!blind-as-a-bat wrote: »Did anyone else get a load of those mini hot air ballons going over last night?

Happy new year all!!
Do hope you had a great night whatever you did, and I hope the next year will bring you all happiness and peace.
My party went well but I have ended up with more food and beer than i started with... 2 black bin bags full of empty cans and bottles and 1 full of paperplates and rubbish.. party popper waste in every room... ooo i hate mess. OH is washing up but luckly not too much, plastic cups were a god send.
I realised last night I drink far too much and dont get drunk quickly. Luckily it does not happen often though!
Resolutions: The usual..
1)loose some weight (i dont even know what i weigh but would like to loose a few inches) This will start as soon as the christmas junk has gone, 6 tins of chocs left and 7 tins of buscuits!
2)Stop smoking. Im not going to attempt this yet, Im having a week off work in february I think i will choose that week.
3)Go a bit easier on myself, I work hard both at work and home, but you know what this year will be a year of leaving stuff if im tired.. Im not going to ware myself into the ground.
4) laugh alot more than I did in 20090 -
Sounds goo NM - especially no. 4. That was one of my resolutions last year (well, to have more fun!). I need to reinstate that one for this year.

I have no wish to disillusion my wife who was so convinced that they were indeed 'UFO's, that she did not take a single drink last night, thereby allowing me to initiate today's hangover - bless her.
