  • Alastair, sorry to hear you're still poorly, hope you're feeling much improved soon.

Angie, no resolutions but my son and I are going to eat more healthy and exercise more. I don't need to worry about my daughter, she eats very well at the childminders during the week.

I drove back from Newbury this afternoon so I'm really tired - done nearly 500 miles in 3 days so need a rest I think!!! :rotfl:Still glad I went as I saw my Nan in hospital and my Dad.

    How about you, any resolutions?

    ooooooh...New Year resolutions.....???

First one of mine is to regain all the weight I've lost over the Xmas holidays.......
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......
  • My resolutions..
    1. drink more
    2. smoke more
    3. eat crap food
    4. don't walk/exercise
    5. let home become a tip
    6. don't nag DD
oh no..thats what i'm NOT going to do this year..dam its looking like a very boring 2010:confused:
    I NEED resolutions that i can keep:o.. i know..i'm going to sleep more:D
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • LOL I know that journey back from Newbury very, very well.....it is tiring if you are`nt used to it & I don`t go as far up the M1 as you do!! Hope your Nan & Dad are OK.

My only resolution is to make 2010 better than 2009.....even though I have alot of `mountains` to climb I do feel I have the right `mindset` to achieve them....if you know what I mean.

Happy New Year Alastair.....hope you managed some medicinal whisky or brandy...I`m told it works wonders....or is that just for`man-flu`:confused:
  • Well 2010 will be better for me, hopefully get an early discharge and a new job and have a holiday with my kids. But other than that I'm not fussed - a new man would be nice but not a necessity, and certainly I'm going to be very choosy as I've got through this on my own (with your help) and I know I'm worth more than I've 'settled for' in the past!!!! I did get two wonderful kids though so it wasn't all bad :D

Happy New Year to you too, So Sad Angel.....

strangely no-one I know has suggested man flu......but in the village people have been crossing over the other side of the road to avoid me.......

2010 has to be a better year....for me and mine especially.

2009 has been a year of death and pain...especially for my ex, my son and daughter....[both grand parents].....

now it appears I'm the next oldest.....hence my DS's worry over his Dad's health.

so maybe 2010 will be an upper?
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

  • Happy New Year to everyone. My son and I have just been watching the free light show as everyone sets off fireworks - we live up a hill and overlook a large part of the town!
