  • I'm going out to get a new car seat for my daughter - she's just about outgrown the one she's got! My son's got some vouchers he wants to spend but he's learning, he knows what he wants and if he can't get it he'll wait - maybe something good has come out of the financial problems I've had!! :rotfl:

    OH is shopping online for a dog. Many of you know that we re-homed our dogs last year as we were moving abroad. That was a waste of time because now we aren't moving we could have kept our dogs.

    We were going to go for a walk ourselves but gave up on that idea and made turkey curry for later instead. I got all the rest of the meat off the turkey and have enough left for sandwiches tomorrow and some turkey nachos - yum! Then its roast beef to lead us into the new year! Good job cause I have no money for food shopping!

    ooh lovely turkey curry!! we didn't cook a turkey as we ate at my parents then OHs parents, i miss the various turkey dishes and sandwiches!

    big shame about your dogs...i hope you find a new dog to care for

    well we didn't manage our walk, down to me being absolutely full of cold
    i normally cope quite well but it has knocked me good n proper. OH off to work in a bit so going to grab late lunch and go get in bed for a bit :(
