it was my christmas presant from my DD, out of her own money, which made it even more speicial
More so because she new how much i wanted to see it, and was suited she could do that for me.
Bat that is so lovely to read, I'm really pleased you've had a smashing day and what a fantastic thing for your daughter to do for you. A credit to you bat. I hope my two grow up to be that thoughtful.0 -

Been to see the film Avatar in 3D (bear in mind the last film i saw at the cinama was the second scooby doo film)
Firstly what an unbelievably good film, story line, effects, the works!

I have just had a call from a tesco driver, the store had phoned him to try and deliver my shopping in his car... I feel awful now. He is on his way and if need be i will have to carry up the bags from the bottom of the hill. I wrote them a email with a complaint, saying i understood how the weather was not their fault but they could have allowed me to go to the local store to collect it without paying again as they had taken my money so left me without any.. but now knowing this guy is travelling all that way in bad roads just to deliver my shopping i feel rotten.
My OH took DD to work earlier and struggled, after an hour i called to see where he was and he told me he was on the street and couldnt get up it, i went outside to find all the neighbours out with shovels digging up the snow and pushing his car.. It is awful.0 -
Aw nm, nothing about that is ideal is it. It's the likes of you and the hard working delivery driver who are lucked out - us minions here who have to put up with greedy so and so's. I thought they didn't take any money till itou get was delivered and substitutes were agreed to. Is it standard practise to take the money before delivery. I guess you havn't to feel guilty. I hope you get your shopping and if you have to carry the bags up the hill for goodness sakes be careful. Let us know how you get on.. and try not to feel guilty even though I totally see where you're coming from, I'd be the same0
