    Hi all,

As all my four are school aged, head lice is something that have become a part of our lives. To make matters worse, my youngest, who is not yet three takes great pleasure in pointing to his head and proclaiming to strangers "me got nits in there" :o:o

We have found the best cure is copious quantities of conditioner, combed through with the combs from these people http://www.chc.org/ . Of course the only way to absolutlyprevent re-infection is to keep them away from all other children  but as this isn't practical, "bug busting" is a Sunday night ritual (or the three days prior to a visit to Granny's ;))

Evening Beth, so sorry to hear you're poorly, big hugs for you xxx

I remember the 'nits'........I went to boarding school (for my sins) & those who 'got' the nits were excused lessons & isolated in Sick Bay........so some of us smart alecs decided to put sugar in our hair & 'pretend' to have the nits.........Matron took us all seriously & declared an epidemic, they cut all our hair off, stopped all exeats & made us all take lessons anyway - I don't think my Mother ever forgave me :eek::eek:

Oh dear, I saw it coming though, it's unrealistic to think that the banks could pay back all that money. It was never going to happen

Oh dear, Martin will be in a bad mood now, as will thousands of others, the test case for bank charges lost:rolleyes:

Hands up those who are surprised though:confused:

Can't say I am really surprised, given the record of the courts so far. ;):rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Should I get out of my comfy, cosy, the world is fair box and relise that the government could actually influence a decision like this?

I'm going to have to come off MSE today, I've gone over to the discussion thread about the test case result to try and learn about what has gone on and it's bedlam, trolls who are obviously signing up to cause trouble, slanging matches. I want debate, with good ideas on both sides so I can think and pick through to develop my own ideas.

Why does ignorance spoil things, why can people not just put their opinions across without being nasty, rude or resort to personal jibes.

I don't even feel like I trust the news anymore you know. How is a person supposed to grow, how is a naive woman of 30 meant to gain a back bone and move in this world with her own opinions when whenever she tries to learn she's faced with game playing all around her.. money - the root of all things unpleasant. Some folk want to watch Scrooge this Christmas and learn a lesson.. right off to do the blurdy dishes and calm myself down
