Had a dusting of snow here earlier, but that's about it.

I do mean a 'dusting' as well. Looks like someone with super chronic dandruff has visited.

Are you trained for horrid weather Phil? i guess you would have to be doing what you used to do. I really don't like driving in snow, need some training in it I think. Confooosed, he has his salopettes - he reckons skiers can cope in the minus' so can he.. idiot I reckon. I worry (grrrrr again!) he's going to develop arthritis but it's what he wants to do so I gitta pull back.
Phil, no snow for Christmas so you'll be fine.. hope Nicky's family are ok in FH. The white stuff has stopped now. There's talk of us going up to Scoland to visit his sister after xmas, all depends whether he can get time off.Hope so, I could do with a break.

Hmm indeed I was....still makes me feel sick though had a nasty accident on the way to a call a few years ago on the M62 and we pass the spot every time we go to durham..gulp!

oh well glad its lookin like no snow then..OH's mam & dad are at the bottom of a hill in FH and its lethal in winter. The break away sounds nice though could be just what you all need :D

  • Well I think its raining now, not very heavily but certainly doesn't look like snow. Still got some snow around but I bet its just going to freeze over night! Oh well, with a bit of luck my daughter will have had fun playing in the snow with her Dad and Step mum.

  • got a bit of snow here, not alot and im not sure wether i want any or not.. the kids want to make snowmen so from that point of view id love it to snow so i can play outside with them, but i also remember last year, we live at the top of a hill and were housebound as they dont grit our road.. OH had problems getting home after a day at work as he was just wheelspinning.. and of course he cant walk up the hill! i also had a couple of days off with it in feb this year, but i need to get to work next week as iv got everyones wages to pay! including my own... haha

No more snow here just icy roads and pavements. I made (walking coz car is still snowed in!) 2 trips to the high street today.

I'm hoping to make it through the holidays without seeing any family! BIL took offence at the Christmas card I sent and has been sending OH texts saying how horrible I am! Nothing offensive was said in the card, just Merry Christmas to him and his wife. I think they are having severe relationship problems - they don't live together anymore and haven't for the past 16 years of their 19 year marriage but they are still 'together' as far as we know - we stopped asking a loooong time ago. I put her name on the card every year - its always the white elephant in the room!
