iv double checked my list against the present bag and everyone is covered. So I have a tin of quality street and a 70cl bottle of absolut Vodka.. wrapped them up now and put my name on them from santa :-)
I must have got confused, most of my present shopping was done by buying a bit extra on a weekly basis.. hehe.

Afternoon all.

Only got up at mid-day (luckily no 3 year old to look after today). I went out for a lovely Chinese banquet with some friends last night, I'd been giving the organiser a bit of money each week to pay for it so didn't have to worry about that - in fact I even came home with more money in my purse than I went out with ! Had a little bit to drink (half a bottle of wine) - not used to it - so feeling a little fragile this morning but trying to get motivated to go out for the last bits of shopping :rotfl:

Yes, it was great - even had a tiny dance floor so got up and danced for a bit! Feel more 'christmassy' now.

eeeeee, you wanna see the snow out here (see, I told you. I'm a fish wife!) There's 4 inches dropped in 2 hours! I'm not used to living on a main road. I'm sitting upstairs watching all the cars being abandoned or skidding, thanking my lucky stars all of mine are safe in doors.

We took the girls out sledging today, little Lucy is a big fan of snow. DH adament he's going fishing tomorrow - i'll be hiding the keys if the roads aren't clear :rolleyes::rotfl:

I'm ok Phil! A bit concerned about a car that's just stopped in the middle of the crossroads but I worry enough about my own, no room to fret about other people.

hi mich sounds horrendous there! it's only raining here, and that's bad enough! wish OH was at home, he's driving round in this, i do worry..he reminds me he is big enough to look after himself but i still worry

isn't your OH going to freeeeze fishing in this? keys will be easier to hide than the fishing rod :rolleyes:
