I am now losing my voice. And the last lot of painkillers hasn't worked as well as the others. !!!!!!, I HAVE to go back to work tomorrow.

snaggs, how about a medicinal whisky and dry ginger? The whisky anaesthetises the throat and the ginger warms you up;)

Tigz - sod the sausages and have a :grouphug:...hope you're ok....feel free to rant in my direction if you want.

Shopping has arrived and been put away.

Dh's chair has arrived and after a short spell with a hammer and an allen key, it's now fine.

Tea was cooked and eaten.......I've lost the will to load the dishwasher tho.

Oh and one of DH's friends called out of the blue....amazing what a bit of a "you're all being crap friends, pull your finger out" shouting on FB does isn't it.:D

*sigh* Busy day.....let me tell you what she's done...

Mentor - went well, she's lovely and is helping with my photocopying so I can keep on top. Also talked to the lecturer in chanrge of the course I want to change to, to start getting it sorted.....

DSA Assessment - OK, bit flustered as I couldn't remember if there was anything else, but I tried to be honest. Outcome is, I get a laptop with all the software I need, a printing and photocopy allowance, a textbook allowance (think this is all in one - not sure) and a internet allowance as I use my own 'net not uni. Also getting a printer/scanner and a travel allowance so if I get too mardy I can get a taxi home or to uni! Fantastic!

Best bit was....
After assessment, went down to class, was a workshop. Got a call partway through from the lecturer, they've allowed me to change my course even at this late stage! So, I spent half an hour getting told about it, given a reading list, changing onto the new course, then spent an hour buying books and DVDs (one of the books is the wrong one, It's Shakespeare's sonnets and I need his plays) and then got a new bag to carry all my junk in....And I am tired. Now in uni 5 days a week and have masses to catch up on....phew!

Evening

Back from my run and feeling rather spritely! Must go and wash up and cook in a mo though - thats the trouble with not living with OH in the week - I have too cook for myself

Although he is racing this Saturday so I wont see him all day so I am making shepards pie for us to nosh when he gets back in the evening - yummmmmy I want some now actually but am trying to not waste any food and my cous cous needs eating!!
