Contr. based JSA, earnings, and capital

Hi there,
I'm taking voluntary redundancy and will be getting a decentish (over £16k) pay-off, but no pay in lieu of notice or holiday pay or anything like that.
I'm in my 30s and have worked full time and paid full NI contributions for 15 years, so I understand I'll be entitled to contribution based JSA for 6 months and neither the capital from my redundancy payment, nor the fact its voluntary redundancy, will affect that - is that right?
Also, I understand that I can actually work up to 15 hours a week and still get contribution based JSA, so long as i'm seeking full time work, but its not clear to me whether my earnings would be deducted from my benefits? I read about a 'disregard' of £50 but this seemed to be for pensions rather than earnings - is there any / full disregard for part time earnings, if you are on contributions not income based JSA?
Thanks!
Caroline

The £50 pound is for pensions. If you single, able-bodied, no kids the disregard will be £5
You might want to watch that voluntary redundancy thing, it's possible there would be a sanction0 -
As I understand it, redundancy can stop your entitlement to JSA for up to 26 weeks.
Yes you can work up to 15 hours a week, but any benefit is reduced £1 for £1 after the first £20 earnings (assuming over 25).0
