I've got a lifetime base + 0.98% for a BTL with Verso. They hate it - they've started trying to hit me with fees for "checking tenancy agreement" & trying to force their insurance on me - I've had the mortgage for 10 years with none of this nonsense. I'll put up with it though - 60K at 1.48% for a BTL should win the prize!:j0

I had two years at br+0.25 then life at br+0.95, no legal fee, no product fee, no valuation fee, I just needed to switch my current account. Those were the days'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

I was lucky to get a 250k interest only mortgage through a company called InsideTrack. The rate is 8.34% but because its interest only it actually works out cheaper than other products. I plan to pay it off in thrity years time using an endowment policy also with the same company.
So don't just be misled by looking for rates. It's deals that count, as I was informed at the time.0 -

Snap! Although we have kept our payments the same as when BOE IR was 5.5%.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
4 @ BOE +0.64% and 1 BOE @ +0.39%. I was always a fan of lifetime trackers rather than discounted mortgages. I admit though I never envisaged rates falling so low that collars would come into effect, luckily mine had no collars.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
