Bambino Direct - cancelling order

Options
Hi, I ordered a travel system on Bambino Direct last Tuesday and received an automated confirmation of order email.

I went through Quidco which hadn't tracked so i emailed Quidco and they said to allow 14 days, but i've used Quidco lots and have never waited that long fro something to show as tracked so i emailed Bambino to ask if i should cancel my order which was still "processing" and try again.

No response, so i resent the email and they replied today saying to contact Quidco as it's nothing to do with them. Anyway that's fine, not really my issue.

My issue is having seen loads of warnings on the web now about them i don't want to proceed with the order, which is still "processing". I know it's only been a week but i just have a bad feeling about it. Strangely i thought they were a reputable site as i'd heard them mentioned a few times but i never actually googled "reviews" of them.

Anyway, i feel a bit worried about losing my money. If they refuse to cancel or try and charge me some admin fees what should i do?

I know i can return it if it ever arrives under the distance selling regulations but that would be at my own cost and that wouldn't be cheap for a travel system.

I paid by Visa Debit. Could my bank reverse the payment?

Why not just tell them not to send it,if you are still within distance selling times.
I doubt your bank could reverse the payment,i think the quidco thing is irrelevant tbh.

Well it is irrelevant. But i just mentioned it as their slow response to my original email is what triggered me to have bad feelings about them.

I know about the distance selling times BUT can i actually request for them to not send it?? Well i have asked but do they have to oblige? As far as i can see they can still send it, leaving me to foot the return postage bill before i get a sniff of my money back...
