Any recommendations? I am really after something basic that can be schedueled to copy regular files and folders from one hard to another periodically. Found a lot of free programs through google that it is really difficult to know which one to use. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

Easy to use and very functional. Comes in a free, and paid for version. I liked it so much I paid the £8 for the full paid for version."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Have you tried the built in ntbackup? You can backup to tape or file. I used it today to backup a server HD to a network PC's HD.0 -

Simple, neat and pretty reliable. You can try it and come back if you have any questions. I am backing stuff onto a hard drive and not CD/DVD though.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -
Microsoft offer a free utility called SyncToy which is very easy to use & works well.
I use it to back up all my docs from my 1st to 2nd hard drive but it has lots of saving options.
