Hi Just bought Star Trek 11 Blu-Ray 3 disc digital special edition in Blockbuster for £15.99. It's on promotion for 1 week at £16.99 but magazine in store has a £1 off any blu-ray purchase.
If you want to watch it at its best and have a HD setup then this is the best option.;)0 -

Thanks, was looking for the best deal to treat myself - very rare, hope they have some in stock in my local, even at £16.95 it appears to be the best price out there! You can't rely on a lottery win to pay off your debts....or a long lost aunt come to that;)0

Waiting for this for a while. Bought it from HMV on blu ray on saturday. £19.99, bit of a rip off and haven't even been able to watch it yet because they left the red security tag thing on it.
Soo annoyed

I thought it was a great film too. I grew up on all the series regardless of the Star Trek off shoot.
But if anyone thinks its the worst Star Trek film....ehhh what about the Generations. Personally I put it just behind the Wrath of Khan as being great.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0 -
Too young to have grown up with Star Trek but loved watching the re-runs on TV. Saw this on a massive screen at the cinema and it's the best way to see the movie, absolutely loved it.. Watched it again on the 'plane back from America and it really diminished the film, I only enjoyed it the second time because I could remember the the first time. Unfortunately my dad watched it on the 'plane back too so I must persuade him to watch it on a decent screen eventually.
Have asked Santa (mum) for this for Christmas and will be watching it on a quality TV. Woop.0 -
I am a Trekkie, have seen just about every episode (including the animated) and I loved this film, especially because they released everyone from the normal constrictions of the character. The actors were very good and became the characters in a very short time. Would recommend it to anyone, even my daughter loved it and she is NOT a Trekkie.
Potential spoiler alert
***I got so immersed that I got a little disoriented when they destroyed a certain planet, almost panicked thinking my knowledge of Star Trek must be out a bit!! ~***
It is a really good stand-alone film, but I will not be buying the DVD until it goes with the cheapies because I remember every minute of it still! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
