Legal TV series download sites for the UK?

Seems that these are a bit thin on the ground. For example, I recently wanted to purchase and download Stargate SG1 but couldn't find a legal site that did it. I know I can buy box sets but I would prefer the convenience of downloading.

I'm not interested in peer to peer or any other form of file sharing sites.

Anybody know of a legit one to go with for a UK person because often these pay sites are just peer to peer sharing sites in disguise?

EDIT: Sorry, should have mentioned I use Windows Vista.

I think I had some problem with iTunes when I looked at it but cant remember now. Useless brain...

Anyway, aren't iTunes just for Apples?

No, you can get iTunes for Windows too.

I've just had a look for you, and they have seasons 1 − 10 of Stargate SG1 in iTunes.

Each season is £23.99, and each individual episode is £1.89.

Just be aware that if you purchase it from iTunes, you'll only be able to watch it in iTunes or on an iPod.

To be honest, I would just buy it on DVD.

Plus at least with the DVD you have a physical copy.

If you really want you can rip them to the PC/laptop then.........

google the tv show you want and select video results

you can sometimes get US channels with streamed shows coming up there

There are a few stargate movies here, dn't think they are actual tV series though...more one-offs ?
