Visa buyer protection

Hi All

A friend of mine took a camera in for the repair of a focusing issue. The shop repaired it and she tested the auto focus in the shop before paying £97.50 (I know, she could have bought a new camera for that) with a Visa Debit card.
She happily trotted off to a wedding the next day where she noticed the camera had developed faults that had never existed before the repair and must have been caused during the repair of the auto focus.
On taking the camera back to the repair shop she was told by all 3 of the very rude guys that work there that she'd obviously dropped it after leaving the shop and that they could fix it for a further £30.
Naturaly she felt aggrieved by this and no matter how much she argued in her defence and denial at dropping it got nowhere.
Question is; can she get Visa involved as she doesn't want to go back to the repair shop for more stone-walling and intimidation? The way I see it, as is the way with a credit card purchase, Visa facilated the sale and therefore have to shoulder some of the problem.
