Environmentally friendly gloss paint, what do I need to know?

Options
We need to get our bathroom finished, door frames, skirting board etc. However DH has just recovered from pneumonia and I suffer with asthma, so we're looking for an alternative to ordinary gloss paint. Preferably something with little or no smell. Really don't know where to start with this one, all the sites I've looked at claim they're the most environmentally sound, lowest VOCs etc. I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Please feel free to move if this would be better on another board.
