Question really for anyone with Banking knowledge really i think
I want to know, would my own bank hold information as to how long an account that i paid money to has been active?
I bought something in March 2007 off a company( lets say for example- Smiths- they also have a limited company trading in the name of Smiths Ltd) and are trying to argue that i didnt buy from the company im persuing, the limited one
Does that make sense?
if i contact my bank would they be able to say
Smiths - an account since 2001 or not
Argh- i know what i want to ask but its hard to put it into words . . . . .
Thanks in advance

Is that sort of detail kept on the Companies House record?
You can do limited free searches on the site - might be worth a look.0 -
If it is a limited company you could check with companies house for details of how long they have been trading. I'm not sure that the bank would give you the information you require due to data protection.0
