Organic at Aldi

But does the organic stuff still come half way round the world? If so, wouldn't it be better from an environmental viewpoint to buy local non-organic (fewer airmiles and supporting the local economy).

Still, you can't get local rice, so I suppose that buying Aldi organic is a good thing in that respect.
