Freesat to dvd recorder to tv. HELP

I have got a bush freesat box connected to tv with hdmi cable works fine.
However when I try to connect up my panasonic dvd recorder I can't see any channels as it wont tune in. Very frustrating.

Can anyone help with the cable connections to allow me to record programmes and watch Dvd's

You will find the freesat box is on one of the Panasonic AV channels.On your remote look for the source button, each click will cycle through the AV channels and freesat is usually on AV2.

If the Freesat box has a SCART connection you should use that to connect to the recorder - you're not just trying to connect them through the TV are you? Hopefully the recorder will have an AV1 or AV2 label on the socket you plug into so you know which 'channel' to tell it to record from.
