How do I adjust a kitchen cabinet door?

Probably very simple, but I just cannot get it right.
The bottom corner of the cabinet, opposite the hinges is just a bit too low. How do I adjust the hinges to compensate for this?
Do I do the top hinge or bottom hinge?
Do I adjust the screw to tighten down the hinge or undo it to release the hinge a bit?

Printed the instructions, got home and straight to it :-)
BUT, my kitchen cabinet door does not have the same hinges shown in the instructions. They appear to have to fixing screws and one adjustable screw in the middle - all in a straight line.
I believe that the kitchen in a Howden's.
Any idea how I adjust this type of hinge?0
