When you book with them, there now appears to be a fee called "convenience fee", which they dont tell you about until after you enter your cc details.
Also, in the part where you register your details, they ask you for your Ethnicity - why?

It is a even poorer version of Ryanair's 'online check-in' fee. Only can be got around using a direct debit payment, for which you would need a Malaysian bank account. Not sure if there are other ways around it.
Pretty obvious to me that the ethnicity question is part of some sort of market research.0 -

Yes, common charge for budget airlines in Asia. Tiger Airways charge that as well.0
