Have not been there myself but from what has been said it does not look like you have much to worry about.

Just wanted to wish you good luck. You'll be fine. I have done it and I didn't even have to go in front of a judge. I handed in the papers, paid the fee and was told to come back in a couple of hours. Two hours later I returned and was informed that I had been declared bankrupt in my absence! It is the best feeling in the world when you can tell your creditors to stop hassling you! One piece of advice I will pass on is this: although the OR will tell your creditors about your bankruptcy, it doesn't hurt for you to send them a letter as well. That way you know they have got the message.0

Hope it goes / went as well as these can....my g/f became bankrupt earlier this year, and it has totally changed her - for the better.
She has this release from the worry and hassle, and can live without fear againDoing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes0 -
I am sure you will be fine. Each court operate differently and in some courts you will not even see a judge. However if you do really don't worry about them, they are there to make sure you know what you enter into and will ask you a few basic questions such as have you taken legal advice, how much debt do you have, are your circumstances likely to change etc. Really basic stuff you know the answers to. And it will take max 2 min as they will want to clear the waiting room as soon as possible.
Good luck you will feel great afterwards.Save £12k in 25 No 49
