Does anyone know much about Andover in Hampshire? – i.e. good areas, bad areas, property prices, amenities.
A colleague suggested it could be a good place to get on the property ladder, but I don’t know the area at all.
Advice appreciated folks.

Not very nice actually.
There are certain parts of Hampshire (mainly around the New Forest) that are OK, but on the whole, in the last 8-10years, Hampshire has dropped in class dramatically.0 -
Avoid King Authurs and Cricketers. There maybe a couple of other areas but I can't think off the top of my head.
Roman Way isn't too bad. That is where I rent a house out.
Andover is on the way up though. Not much there at the mo but they have got plans for a cinema etc which should help with pushing house prices up. Good work links to London, Southamton, Basignstoke and Winchester.:A
