Laptop Advice

Hello all you people who make up a huge mind of throbbing technological goodness.

I have a mate who has asked me to recommend a laptop to him for £300-£400. He is happy to buy off ebay and does not need to worry about vat as he is buying it for his business.

I thought I would seek your wonderful guidance before researching my own way forward.

He want it for general office work, broadband and storing photos.

Any good deals etc?

Thank you very much indeedy do!

Dell laptops tend to be (in my experience) flimsy and not very good quality - I've got dead pixels on my TFT and also the plastic is starting to come away from the bottom of the screen  I think a brand like HP/Compaq would be better. Stay away from Sony though :p
