Bed website, havent stuck to delivery timescale

I ordered a bed from divancentre . co. uk on the 30 October and was told 7-10 working day delivery. I still havent received my bed, I have been in constant email contact, only receiving automated responses most of the time. I then contacted the courier (seperate company apparantly) and he was out on a delivery, said he'd contact me, week and a half later, still hasn't. On to the website again, they keep telling me to contact courier, but it shouldn't be my job as the customer.
What do you think the best course of action is?

I obviously want my bed!

    Well if you orderd on the 30th and if they count working days as Mon-Fri then in reality 10 days is only just today, so what's all the panic for. There's no need to contact the courier company unless they have confirmed that the bed has been dispatched.

    Forget email, contact the retailer by phone and demand them to get answers, but I do think you should give it a few days yet.
  • It was 10 days last friday.

    I think its out of order to be TOLD to contact the couriers myself, that should be there job, bad customer service all the same!

    I've now been told the couriers will contact me by 5pm and if not to email the bed company again..vicious circle
