I'm making 100 for the School Fayre as well. I have had a trial run and coloured granulated sugar with food colouring - some red and some green. Left it to dry before mixing with the oats. I got the bags from ebay and I'm using the value oats from Tesco. 100 should cost about £3-4 to make0

Thanks

I managed to pick up pink sugar crystals from my local Morissons last night for 85p - was a decent sized tube as well
Would be ideal for reindeer food
