    I received my two bags before xmas, took exactly a month from date of order and tbh were rubbish. They weren't even complete, i ordered one for him and one for a child and they were both a mismash of things and what was there was unfortunately damaged and couldn't be used to give to anyone.
    Never again, I shouldn't have been so greedy.
  • I ordered 4 of these on Dec 12th.... it's now Jan 11th and they've still yet to arrive.

    I've requested the order be cancelled 3 times;

    - once on Dec 18th, after reading on here that they were full of crap, and their website indicated the item was yet to be dispatched.
    - once on Dec 30th, as they were obviously no longer required, having missed xmas.
    - once on Jan 10th, as supplier's 30 days to fulfill order (Distance Seller Regs) was about to expire.

    They are insistent that the order has been dispatched, and state that I should wait until 17th. If still undelivered, they will refund.

    As they've failed to deliver the item within the statutory 30 days, I believe I am entitled to a full refund anyway? (as per DSR section 19, performance )
    (1) Unless the parties agree otherwise, the supplier shall perform the contract within a maximum of 30 days beginning with the day after the day the consumer sent his order to the supplier.

    <snip>

    (5) A contract which has not been performed within the period for performance shall be treated as if it had not been made, save for any rights or remedies which the consumer has under it as a result of the non-performance.
    If the goods do arrive after the 30 day period, should I refuse to accept them? or accept them, and then request that they organise a collection?

    I'd hope their failure to deliver within 30 days relieves me of any obligation to pay the return postage...

    As the contract of sale is soon to be void, what's the best way of recovering my money?
    I paid by Visa Debit so I should be able to initiate a chargeback?

    definitely worth calling your card company and asking for a chargeback.

    sorry to confirm earlier reports that these goody bags contain a load of cr*p that you wouldnt buy if you saw in the pound shop.

    I ordered mine in October, received it on 21st Dec to discover it was a total waste of money- never again. all went straight in the charity shop bag.
