New homeowner - need help with utilities!

Hi everyone...I could do with some advice. Me and my boyfriend have bought a house and are currenty awaiting completion. I am now in a bit of a panic over which gas/electric/water suppliers are going to be best to start a whole new slate with?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Initially you will have to take over the current utility suppliers to the house.

    Ask the EA to get the details of the contracts for the utilities that current owners are using sent to you. You will then know the company supplying and the price.

    On the day you move in read the meters make a note and let the exisiting suppliers of the gas, elecy know that day. You may want to read the meters with the exisiting owners there.
