Just discovered that i have a church meeting at 10 and I must take the cheque to my Mum after that. My day is fast disappearing.

And the toilet seems to be threatening to overflow - water rises to top of bowl when it flushes.:eek:

Thanks Jinky. Have read this before so might give it a go once my shampoo is finished. Having said that, I put an intensive conditioner on my hair last night, wrapped it in a towel and left it on all night (as recommended). We'll see whether I notice any difference today once it's dried.

    Morning all

Squizz - nice to see you back.

Just been to see the head of physio with DH, the consultant wants them to work on his "core stability" to help realign the muscle in his back but they don't want to treat him as he's still go so much swelling and pain. She told him he can't have a stick for his better days either as he could do more damage than good so to just use the wheelchair......then as we got home his new chair arrived but it's faulty so we'll have to get that sent back now....life is proving to be a pain in the bum.

Onwards and upwards, it's only Monday so it can only get better, right?

Oh and ex's new wife just contacted me on fb to ask if she could send DD's a xmas pressie.....not heard from them in 3 years....not opening that can of worms.

    Good luck Lou!

Sammy, hugs, I don't know what happened but I know families can be more trouble than they're worth!

I'm getting used to typing without the two keys now, until I can figure out how to snap them back on.

My plan for the day - check forums for a bit, do some studying, have a nap and then the rest of the day doing ten mins housework per hour, the place is a tip after a week of being ill.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Hugs for everyone who needs them. (ill have one myself, feeling a bit meh today) Have been up since 5am when B was crying because her nose wouldn't stop running and had a raging temp. So she's off school today bless her and I am sat at work surrounded by a mound of thing to do because it appears no-one else can be bothered and its dumped on me grrrrrrr.

right I'll take my sorry self off to the mound and be back later, hopefully in a better mood!

I had the dreaded Barclays call from the fraud dept yesterday - wondering why I was using my card so much. I think they got it when I said I was Xmas present buying...and let me off
