Cancelation of ordered windows

Hi,

I ordered 2 windows with a reputable company several weeks ago, they provided me with a survey and decided they could not fit them due to health and safety. The nice sales guy suggested a supply only, then pay the window installer cash, which I believe woudl void any guarantee.

I decided that I would renew the existing windows and sent them a cancellation E-Mail, which their reply was you cant cancell due to being outside 7 days and they have been ordered.....Where do I stand with this?

Can I get my £100 deposit back?

Thanks for any comments.

  • I would point out to them that the original contract is for supply and installation but now they wish to break the original contract and supply only. Thus this is not to your requirements and you have decided not to accept the new terms of the new contract
