no hot water

Hi, hope someone can help.

My boiler was working just fine yesterday but this morning the hot water didn't seem to be as hot as usual. When I checked the switch, it had been changed from 'hot water and heating' to 'hot water only' by accident.

I have since switched it back. The radiators are heating up fine, in fact better than before, but the water tank in bathroom airing cupboard isn't heating up.

Any ideas what's wrong anyone?
Thanks.
