Trying to make a engineer style CD for when I'm out on jobs.

So far I've got these:-

Virus
Nod32
AVG Free

Firewall
Kerio

Sickware
Spyware Doctor
Adaware
Spybot
SpywareGuard
SpywareDefender
Microsoft Defender

Diag
Everest
Prime95
MBM
Hijackthis
Startuplist
MSConfig-Cleaner
DirectX

Ripping/Burning
Force ASPI
ASPI Check
Nero
Daemon Tools
Exact Audio Extraction

DVD
PowerDVD
DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink

Browser
Opera
Firefox
Quicktime/Real Alternative
AD Muncher

Utils
Ccleaner
Winrar
Kazaabegone

Now I want to get some drivers for chipsets/graphics/sound/NIC's.

Anyone know where I can get a list of most common chipsets? This is going to be the tricky bit!

How about a couple of apps that don't require installation

Foxit Pdf reader - which would let you read the instruction manuals if Adobe reader hasn't been installed yet.

universal Extractor - apart from the usaul files an extractor can open, it can open some installers so you can get the missing files without re-installing

    the DVIX player

    Euwww!

ffdshow is DirectShow and VFW codec for decoding/encoding many video and audio formats, including DivX and XviD movies using libavcodec, xvid and other opensourced libraries with a rich set of postprocessing filters.

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/

It's the best video codec going, lets divx be displayed in pretty much any player, and is completely free.

    Thx for the replies.

    I added:-

    MSN7.5
    Driver Cleaner
    Foxit pdf
    Intel Drivers
    Nvidia Drivers
    VIA Drivers
    SIS Drivers
    Nvidia Drivers
    ATi Drivers
    SB/Audigy Drivers
AC97 (not sure if these are included with the VIA's)
    Winamp 2.71
    SP2

698MB in total so thats about it for now. Makes it so much easier when you can take 1 or 2 cd's with you instead of a box full.

once you are ok with what you have, why not add more? software from download.com and put them in different folders like audio software, video editing, and use a dvd, you could get som many programs one disc
