I replaced the flourescent light in my kitchen but in my wisdom forgot to make a note of how it was wired !.I have six wires protruding from the ceiling 3 red, 3black which some how connect to two wires in the unit via a connecting block.Any ideas or should I call in an electrician ?

Does one of the blacks have a red sleeve on it, if not you will need a tester,to find the switch wire ( one of the blacks is almost certainly a switched live).0
