Transporting home made meals on wheels

Hi, I frequently take my mother a hot meal, but am going to be doing it twice - three times weekly. I have searched the internet for an insulated dish but cannot find anything. Typical meals are: roast dinner, casserole, rice based meals, pasta etc. Can anyone recommend a way to transport home made meals on wheels. We usually walk as it's only 1/4 mile and end up with gravy running down our legs!! Need to keep food warm and contained. Any suggestions gratefully received:D

Before my mother died, we used to take Sunday lunch through to her house. I used insulated dishes. If you google 'insulated dishes' you'll find lots of companies who make these.
I got mine from QVC, but I see they are out of stock now.0 -
Put food in Tupperware or similar, wrap in several thicknesses of newspaper, and carry in insualted bag from a supermarket usually works quite well..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I used to wrrk for the meals at home service for social services, we packed the dinners in foil trays and then into cool boxes which kept the tempretures very well ( I know I had to record them) if we delivered to a flat we used to use cool bags to carry them up in you can get them in supermarkets but I think you'll struggle this time of year hth:beer:0

Thanks for all suggestions - I had spent a long time googling insulated dishes and couldn't find what I needed. I have today found 'Thermos Insulated Food Server with Stainless Steel Liner' on Amazon and eBay. It's just what I want and not too expensive.
