Christmas present for a 6 year old boy and a four year old girl

Hello, I'm struggling to find things for my niece and nephew as my budget is really limited this year. I can afford about £10 each.

My nephew (6 years old, but 7 in January) really loves aeroplanes and anything to do with the armed forces and football. My parents are buying him a camouflage suit and my brother is buying him a camouflage baseball cap. For reference, for his 4 year old brother I have a poster of the solar system and an Usbourne Beginners book called "Sun, Moon and Stars". Plus I need to find one other thing for him.

My four year old niece is a bit more difficult as I'm not sure what she is into at the moment as I don't see her very often (in fact she has only just had her birthday present from June). I imagine she would like most girly things, but I just don't know what to get.

Any suggestions would be really welcome.

I do love the sock monkeys but my sewing skills are as non existent as my sewing machine. I do enjoy making jewellery, but nothing appropriate springs to mind for my niece who is still quite young for anything really.

How about buying character clothes/pyjamas from somewhere like Asda? I guess the 6/7 year old boy would be into Ben 10? There is loads of stuff like that around. Also for the little girl I guess at 4 she'd be into perhaps Pepper Pig, Iggle Piggle - someone who has kids may be able to give you more ideas as to what they'd be into. You'd usually get a set of pjs or t-shirt for well under £10
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.

Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.

Try any of the above. I have a 5 yr son old and 3 yr old daughter. There are some other things on tesco too which are a few pounds more. Have a trawl through and see if you can find something that you like the look of

    Hope you get sorted

As the mother of a five year old boy, of the offers listed above I would go with the Omnitrix at that price it is a real bargain. Also look at lego, and Bionicles -

For your neice, what about a dress up set, you can get some really nice ones from Matalan or even your local Tesco/Sainsburys.

    Good luck!

My little one (3) loves peppa pig, dora and disney princess.

If you have a Sainsburys near you, they have little book sets (I got the princess one, but there were dora and other ones there too), with a cd and a charm bracelet for £3.99 - the price is printed on the back at £9.99. They also have some of their toys half price, so their own barbie type dolls were marked at £1.49.

The Book People do sets of age appropriate books for less than £10. You can't beat them for value and I don't think kids can have too many books :D
