I went on a course run by one of our charities but what I needed was back-up material so that I could return home and repeat what I had learnt on my laptop. The book I mentioned earlier helped me through the early stages.0

I help out at local Age Concern, do try them as well, ours offers PC basic courses, for people who do not know mouse from elbow to others who do know but are unsure of how to do somethings, like maybe e-mail
