    Ah Huxley that's lovely.
We really want a family to start making memories with, so that really would be my ideal Christmas present! I think that's why I found it hard at the mo because it is just the two of us, I know if we had children it would be all about them and we wouldn't matter. Christmas really is for children and without them I'm clinging on desperately to try and keep it special somehow.

Me and the OH don't really buy for each other either. We have 2 young children - nearly 6 and 3 and we have enough fun seeing them open their pressies and enjoy the day. For me Christmas is all about giving and not about receiving at all. We don't need anything but I have bought a few little token presents for my OH including - desk calendar, Morph figure that you can mould and he can hold your phone, smellies, jelly belly beans... spent about £16.

Christmas will be special because the two of you will be together x

But it's not really presents that makes a day special, is it? Not unless you're five years old and it's your birthday!

Yes it is, according to my OH...

And it's quantity and size of gifts that counts...apparently

OMG I am marrying a 5 year old.

We don't buy presents, we have anything we need and two lovely children. We buy something we need for the house. Last year we got some chickens in January and have had fresh eggs all year.
Stop the world, I'm getting off! :D

Hubby and I have been together 8 years and I like to spoil him on Christmas day. It doesn't need to have cost a lot of money (I always shop around, some of his presents are from pound land but it's the thought that counts!) I love seeing his face when I open up his presents :)
