New PC - Itunes and Iphone problems

Hi,
I bought a new desktop last week after the HDD failed on my old laptop. I've just just installed itunes and logged into my itunes account but i can't sync my new music with my iphone, a quick google seems to reveal ways around this but they all need info off my old machine which is now defunct and gathering dust.
Can any body suggest a way of getting them to sync with out wiping all the info on my iphone.
