Hi big,
As a minimum fit a continous duty extractor fan to the bathroom, a continous duty fan is one which works all the time on a 'trickle' mode
the fans I regularly use are
Nuaire Genie X
Envirovent filterless extract fan
the envirovent fan might be a better option as it is both a kitchen and bathroom fan, so with the flick of a switch you get a lot more powerful fan in your bathroom (if it needs it). They are a bit more expensive than the nuaire product though.
Good luck
DDThe advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

You can pick up the envirovent fan on ebay for as little as £40. I now have one in the kitchen, much more powerful than fans I have had in previous houses. It is very quiet in trickle mode, boost is another matter tho
