WHSmiths do not sell Glass's Guide it is a trade publication.

They sell Parkers Guide which has free online access.

pop along to a dealer & take interest in something big & shiny & expensive, when he asks what you want for your car, give a mad figure, he might show you what its worth in the book.

Saying he couldnt possibly give you more than that..

Parkers online is free for cars under 10 years old, with an assumed average mileage for the year. If you want a valuation over 10 years old or customised for mileage and options etc then you can pay for one on the parkers website. Don't think it costs very much.
