In simple terms none, you need to ring some brokers, A Plan Bletchley gave my wife 3 years when she got her own car after 10 years as a named driver with no accidents.0

none
but some insurers will give a discount for named driversSealed pot challenger # 10

My wife was given a full 4 years NCB for 4 years as a named driver with Admiral. This was about 8 years ago tho' so not sure how relevant that will be now.0

They will have no NCD when moving to another insurance company.
SOME insurance companies (I know Direct Line does) will give a named driver 5 (in your case) years' NCD on their own policy as long as they stay with Direct Line. If they were to leave Direct Line though, no NCD would be transferrable to a new insurer.
Does that make sense?0 -
